Joint pain is the discomfort, aching and soreness

Joint pain is the discomfort, aching and soreness felt in any part of the joints and  is an extremely common condition affecting all body joints. Obesity, injury and aging are the main causes of osteoarthritis. It is an aging illness that mostly affects the elderly. The causes of body joint pain consist of rheumatoid arthritis, gout, osteoarthritis, bursitis, strains, sprains and fibromyalgia  Rheumatoid arthritis is the inflammation of body joints causing fluid buildup as the immune system attacks the synovium.
Similar to rheumatoid arthritis, bursitis is also an inflammation of the bursae that causes fluid to form in the joints. The fluid enables smooth movement of joints and without it, frictions occur causing discomfort and pain in the joints. Gout is caused by collection of uric acid & usually affecting parts of the feet.

Joints are made up of cartilage and ligaments. They contain substantial amounts of lubrication to keep movements smooth and painless. Tough and smooth, the cartilage acts like a soft, squishy cushion or shock absorber, preventing the ends of bones that meet in the joint from rubbing against one another.  Cartilage,Intervertebral disc is   mostly water — anywhere from 65 to 80 percent — so hydration is very important to joint and disc health .
Swelling is one of the    common symptoms of arthritis in hands. You will most likely  One may notice the swelling around the painful joints in fingers. It  usually starts around one or two joints.  This is one of the more obvious symptoms of arthritis in hands. A feeling of warmth is a companion of many other symptoms of arthritis in hands, especially swelling. When any part of the body begins to swell, warmth is a natural by product of it.
Osteoarthritis (OA) is progressive joint disease characterized by joint inflammation and a reparative bone response and is one of the top five most disabling conditions that affects more than one-third of persons > 65 years of age .Global estimates reveal more than 100 million people are affected by OA. As the number of people >65 years increases, so does the prevalence of OA and the need for cost-effective treatment and care. Knee Osteoarthritis is one of the common arthritis .Within a joint such as the knee, there is a smooth fibrous connective tissue known as articular cartilage. This cartilage surrounds the bone where it comes into contact with another bone. In a normal joint, the cartilage acts as a shock absorber as well as it allows for even movement of the joint without pain. When cartilage degrades, it becomes thinner and may even disappear altogether leading to joint pain and difficulty in movement such as in knee OA.
